Join us on our mission to regenerate urban landscapes and create abundance in our communities, one seed at a time.

A dozen young adults have gone through our Garden Apprenticeship Program - learning regenerative agriculture, plant knowledge and seed saving to grow the green workforce sector.

Education + Apprenticeship

Community Building

RSF Volunteers have contributed over 2000 hours of work, building friendships while learning new skills that enhance self-sufficiency and help alleviate climate anxiety.
We convert lawns and empty lots into productive edible landscapes to grow healthier communities and ecosystems. Our design style integrates permaculture principles with natural beauty

Edible Landscaping

Events + Workshops

Thousands of people have visited the farm to learn about growing food and medicine, seed saving, and climate resilient growing techniques at our workshops, tours, and events.
We have grown over 7 million locally-adapted seeds, supporting the movement to reclaim seed in the hands of the people, not the corporations who currently control over 60% of all global seed
Since our founding, we have donated over 10,000 seed packets to low-income and BIPOC centered organizations. (enough to grow 300,000lbs+ of food and medicine)

Our Work

Seed Farm + Donation Program

Food Justice + Seed Sovereignty

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit growing locally-adapted vegetable, flower, and medicine seeds at our urban farm in Portland, Oregon. We are committed to local food security, educating the next generation of seed savers, and healing our environment from the ground up. We are building the future we want to see, centering social justice and climate action as a form of revolution. That’s why we donate half of the seeds we grow to low income and BIPOC communities, school gardens, and others in need.
